日本のプロ野球の指名打者制は勝率にどのような影響があったか?

私もそれほど詳しくありませんが、野球のゲームにおいて、打撃・守備・走塁・投球などの要素を統合し、選手の貢献度を数値化したWAR=Wins Above Replacementを用いて検証しています。WARでは代替可能選手(Replacement Player)と比べて、どれだけ多くの勝利をチームにもたらしたかを示す総合評価指標だそうです。論文から引用した次の Fig 2. Correlation coefficient between WAR and team winning percentage in Pacific League では、DHを含めた場合と含めない場合の両方で、チーム平均WARと勝率の相関係数を比較しています。見れば明らかですが、係数の大きさに有意な差は見られず、DH制度は選手の能力がチームの勝率に与える影響を大きく変化させないことが示唆される、と結論しています。同じように係数の大きさを比較したグラフがいくつかあります。

来年2027年からは、セ・リーグでもDH制が採用されます。大きな勝率の変化がないとすれば、阪神タイガースに有利でも不利でもない、ということになるのかもしれません。
